Hello! I'm Daniele, a licensed pediatric occupational therapist, founder of Boise Outdoor OT, and creator of Mud Kitchen Kids Development.
I began my career as a school-based occupational therapist in the New York City public school system. After relocating to Boise, I discovered the incredible value of outdoor environments in supporting children's regulation, movement, engagement, and overall development. That experience inspired me to create a nature-based practice in Garden City, where I provide individualized occupational therapy and lead developmental programs designed through an occupational therapy lens.
Beyond direct clinical practice, I provide presentations, workshops, online education, and mentorship that help caregivers, educators, schools, and fellow professionals better understand how intentionally cultivated outdoor environments can support children's development through meaningful play, movement, exploration, and connection.
I'm certified in the STEPPSI Clinical Reasoning Model for Sensory Integration and am a trained Powerfully You provider, supporting children's self-regulation through connection, body awareness, and individualized strategies.
When I'm not covered in dirt supporting the children I serve, you'll find me covered in dirt, playing with my two daughters!
