About
Hello! My name is Daniele and I am a licensed occupational therapist and the founder/owner of Boise Outdoor OT and Mud Kitchen Kids enrichment program.
I began my career as a school-based OT in the New York City public school system. After relocating to Boise, I discovered the transformative power of outdoor environments while serving as a forest school educator. Inspired by this experience, I established a nature-based practice along the banks of the Boise River in Garden City.

I am certified in The STEPPSI, a clinical reasoning model for supporting sensory integration challenges, and am a trained “Powerfully You” provider, teaching self-regulation through connection, awareness of body states, and individualized tools. My primary focus is on providing personalized 1:1 outdoor occupational therapy and facilitating sensory play groups within my mud kitchen facility.
My goal is to developmentally support your child while co-facilitating with nature. Your child is their own agent of change.
Through my sessions, writings, and speaking engagements, I am a dedicated advocate for holistic child development, integrating enhanced movement and immersive sensory experiences in the great outdoors.
When I'm not covered in dirt supporting the children I serve, you'll find me covered in dirt, playing with my two daughters!
