Boise Outdoor OT is excited to invite volunteers to support our summer enrichment program, "Mud Kitchen Kids and Loose Parts Play." This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a fun, nature-based learning environment while gaining valuable experience.

Partner with Boise Outdoor OT
If your university program is interested in partnering with Boise Outdoor OT's Mud Kitchen Kid enrichment classes for fieldwork assignments, volunteering, or mentoring, we’d love to hear from you!
We have proudly partnered with the College of Western Idaho’s Level I OTA students and Idaho State University’s Level I OT students.
This environment offers a dynamic learning opportunity for programs focused on occupational therapy, early childhood education, outdoor education, speech therapy, physical therapy, counseling, kinesiology, physical education, and additional health and sciences. Students will gain hands-on experience in a nature-based, sensory-rich environment, supporting children’s mental and physical developmental through open-ended, enhanced play opportunities.
Our semesters currently run during the Summer and Fall for approximately 6 weeks, with classes held all day on Fridays only.​
